The Weldsafe Plasma Cutter has Inverter technology for better performance and lighter weight. It is suitable for cutting many different metals including Aluminium, Copper, Steel & Stainless Steel. When using this cutter you can expect a clean cut of up to 10mm through Mild Steel.
This Cutter comes as standard with Thermal overload protection that will keep your machine safe by turning off if it gets too hot.
Why Buy a Plasma Cutter & Where Can It Be Used
Plasma cutting is an effective method of cutting materials that are electrically conductive. The process involves injecting a jet of hot plasma at an accelerated rate that then cuts through the material. Plasma cutting is suitable for many metals including aluminium, steel, stainless steel, brass copper and more
You can use a plasma cutter for many things such as manufacturing, auto repair, construction, salvage, restoration etc because plasma cutting produces high speed precision cuts that don’t cost much, the process has a big appeal and usage in many applications from large scale CNC projects to small workshops where materials are often then used for welding purposes.
Because Plasma cutters produce a very hot and very localised “cone” for cutting, they are very useful for cutting and welding sheets in curved or angled shapes.
For the process of plasma cutting to work, an electrical channel of superheated, electrically ionised gas (plasma) is needed for the workpiece to be cut. This channel forms a finished circuit back to the plasma cutter via an earth terminal which is accomplished when compressed gas is blown to the workpiece at high speed through a focused nozzle.

Plasma cutting is an effective way to cut thin and thick materials. Different Cutting needs require different cutting heads. This Plasma Cutter will cut up to 10mm mild steel – we do stock larger cutters that will cut up to 20mm Mild Steel.
